A lot has changed since 1984 at American Rentals. From the single location in Bellflower, California with small residential equipment, the company has expanded to five locations serving the greater Los Angeles, Orange County, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego areas. Today, American Rentals has a heavy construction fleet ranging from excavators, wheel loaders, skid steers, boom lifts, scissor lifts, water trucks, and dump trucks; the list is endless! We add to our fleet daily featuring top quality equipment from Skyjack, Genie, JLG, John Deere, Kubota, and Bobcat.

Owner and CEO Tony Murray is dedicated to the rental industry and its growth. Tony has served as the American Rental Association Region 9 Director for the states of California, Nevada, and Hawaii. When not at one of the AR locations or attending meetings for the rental associations, you can find Tony engaged in his passion; off-road desert racing. The team of American Rentals Motorsports can be seen at racing events in California, Nevada and Baja Mexico. Through the years the team has won many races and continues to grow.
